Duel Odermatt-Kristoffersen à Hafjell

Le globe du géant de Marco Odermatt est en danger à Hafjell. Le Nidwaldien ne compte plus que 41 points d'avance sur le Norvégien Henrik Kristoffersen, qui l'a battu lors des deux dernières courses.

Aux géants de Schladming (2e) et de Kranjska Gora (1er), Kristoffersen a terminé devant le Suisse (3e les deux fois). Odermatt, qui a remporté le petit globe de la spécialité ces trois dernières saisons, doit donc se méfier samedi sur les terres de son rival.

Malgré trois victoires consécutives en géant en milieu de saison (Val d'Isère, Alta Badia et Adelboden), 'Odi' n'affiche pas la même domination dans sa discipline fétiche cet hiver. Il a d'ailleurs terminé hors du podium lors des Mondiaux de Saalbach, derrière Thomas Tumler et Loïc Meillard.

Ces deux hommes seront aussi candidats au top 3 samedi à Hafjell, une semaine avant les finales de Sun Valley, aux Etats-Unis, où la Coupe du monde tiendra sa conclusion.
